Community Outreach Marks Superintendent Allison's Fifth Year in Wichita

Superintendent John Allison hosted seven Community Conversations

to engage parents and the public about education in the Wichita Public Schools in November and December. The 2013 Community Conversations with Superintendent John Allison were held at each comprehensive high school to gather feedback about what patrons view as educational priorities for Wichita's children. Participants were asked to provide feedback on 4 topics:

  • What are the most important educational priorities that the Wichita Public Schools should focus on?
  • As you consider your priorities, what is our
  • district doing well?
  • As you consider your priorities, what does our district need to improve?
  • What do you need from the Wichita Public Schools in order to help your child be successful academically?

The feedback will be gathered and a summary report will be presented to the Board of Education in January
